My Absorb Activity 

For my Absorb activity, the students will participate in a virtual field trip to a bat conservation.  Before the students start the Absorb activity, I will ask them what they know about bats.  After I write their comments on the chalk/white board, I will instruct the student to watch the video, BatsLIVE: A Distance Learning Adventure at https://batslive.pwnet.org/webcast/webcast_page_may17.php.  The video is hosted by Sandy Frost of the USDA Forest Service, Rob Mies from the Organization for Bat Conservation, and Ann Froschauer and Chelsea Corcoran/Quadt from the US Fish and Wildlife Service.  After watching the video, we will discuss what we have learned from the video.
